‘Lasseter is the summation of a 6 year personal journey. Named after the highway in central Australia I used to work on as a tour guide, it is a look back on where I have come from, the path I have taken, and the direction that I am heading towards into the future. At times chaotic and uncertain, and at others euphoric and easy, the song represents the winding road of the past. It was important for me that the song exploded into its fun and groovy climax as it perfectly represents the happiness I have felt over the last year after the birth of my son’
